Who is responsible
This privacy policy explains how BaoBao, 2108 N St Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816, United States (“we”) handles your personal data when you use baobao.lt or buy from us. Contact: fluffybun@baobao.lt.
What we collect and why
- Orders: your name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number and order details, to process, ship and support your order, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
- Payments: handled by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Fit checks and emails: the measurements, photos of your dog and messages you send us, to answer your question and recommend a size.
- Account: if you create an account, your email address, name, addresses and order history. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email.
- Website use: technical data such as your IP address and browser, to keep the site secure and working. We only use cookies that are necessary for the shop to work (for example your cart) unless you agree to more.
Legal bases (EU and UK)
- Contract: processing your order, account, delivery and returns.
- Legal obligation: keeping invoices and tax records.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the site secure, preventing fraud and answering your fit-check questions.
- Consent: any optional cookies or marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers we need to run the shop: Hostinger (website hosting and email delivery), Stripe (card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments), and the shipping carriers and fulfilment partners who prepare and deliver your order, some of which are outside your country. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Fit-check photos and emails are deleted within 12 months unless they are part of an open order or complaint.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct or delete it, or to stop using it for a purpose. If you live in the EU or the UK, you have these rights under the GDPR and can complain to your local data protection authority. If you live in California, you have the rights given by the CCPA, and we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. Email fluffybun@baobao.lt to use any of these rights.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and some of our providers are in other countries. Where your data is transferred outside your country, we use the safeguards required by law.
